Welcome to Wild Sumatra Adventure

My name is Dedek, the founder, owner, and local guide of Wild Sumatra Adventure. I was born and raised in Bukit Lawang, a small village at the gateway to Gunung Leuser National Park, one of the world’s most important tropical rainforests and home to the critically endangered Sumatran orangutan.

Growing up in this unique environment gave me a deep connection to the jungle, its wildlife, and the local culture. Over the years, I have dedicated my life to guiding travelers and sharing the natural beauty of Sumatra with visitors from all over the world.

Wild Sumatra Adventure was created with a simple mission: to provide authentic, safe, and unforgettable experiences while promoting responsible and sustainable tourism. We specialize in jungle trekking, wildlife encounters, river activities, cultural experiences, and personalized tours that allow our guests to discover the real beauty of Bukit Lawang and North Sumatra.

Let’s Explore Sumatra Together

As a locally owned business, we take pride in offering genuine hospitality, professional guiding services, and memorable adventures tailored to every traveler. Every trip with us is designed not only to explore the rainforest but also to support the local community and help preserve the natural environment for future generations.

At Wild Sumatra Adventure, we don’t just guide you through the jungle—we invite you to experience our home, our culture, and the incredible wonders of Sumatra.

We look forward to welcoming you to Bukit Lawang and creating unforgettable memories together.
