DAY 1
Begin your journey with an optional pick-up from Medan, Kualanamu International Airport, or your hotel, followed by a comfortable drive to Bukit Lawang. Upon arrival, meet your experienced local guide for a short introduction and briefing before your rainforest adventure begins.
If you arrive later in the day, take some time to explore the charming village of Bukit Lawang. Stroll along the riverside, admire the surrounding rainforest scenery, unwind by the crystal-clear Bohorok River, and enjoy the refreshing mountain atmosphere.
DAY 2
Start the day with breakfast at the jungle campsite before continuing your trek through the lush rainforest of Mount Leuser National Park. Venture along scenic forest trails while looking for wild orangutans and other native wildlife, as your guide shares fascinating insights into the rainforest’s unique plants and ecosystem. After enjoying lunch in the heart of the jungle, continue exploring deeper into this remarkable wilderness. In the evening, return to camp for dinner and spend another peaceful night surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest.
Wake up to the sounds of the rainforest and enjoy breakfast before setting off on the final stage of your trek toward the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park. Along the way, enjoy lunch in a beautiful jungle setting before making your way to the river for an exciting traditional river tubing adventure back to Bukit Lawang. Stay one more night at the accommodation in Bukit Lawang.
DAY 4
After breakfast, we’ll take you back to Kuala namu Airport or your hotel in Medan. We hope you’ll leave with more than just photos—bringing home unforgettable memories of Sumatra’s rainforest, its wildlife, and the people who made your journey special.
